Nutrition for puppies is critical to ensure a healthy life, less illness, shiny fur and nimble, happy. The following are important issues that the owners should know.

1. WHEN SHOULD WEANING START FOR PUPPIES?
Most puppies begin eating solid food at 3-4 weeks of age. So the best weaning is in about 7-8 weeks of age. The puppies often sick if separating the mother too soon. Because breast milk provides nutrients and antibodies necessary for puppies against disease. When the puppies begin to eat solid food should mix three parts of food with one part water or milk substitute for easy digestion. The best milk to use the BIO-MILK FOR PET.
2. HOW MANY TIMES A DAY SHOULD YOU FEED THE PUPPIES?
Puppies under 4 months old: 4 meals a day. Dogs 4-6 months: 3 meals a day. Dogs over 6 months of age and older: 2 meals a day. The meals should remain regulated on time.
3. HOW MUCH QUANTITY OF FOOD FOR DOGS PER DAY?
The amount of food often accounts for about 2-3% of body weight of dogs. For example: a 10 kg dog, the amount of food a day would be:
10 kg x 0.02 = 200 g feed / day or 10 kg x 0.03 = 300g feed / day.
However, depending on the growth and health of each dog able to adjust feeding 2%, 2.5% or 3% of body weight.

4. LIBITUM OR MEALS?
+ Libitum is poured into the bowl so that your pet wants to eat when they want. This is quite consistent with the dry food. Advantage of libitum is the owner does not need worry about the time to feed the dogs. Disadvantage: if has many pet may have the bullying and some puppies cannot eat. There is also risk of obesity because of overeating.
+ Meals are the most suitable way to feed. You can adjust the food for fat or skinny dogs (skinny dogs have emerging ribs). It also helps to mix medications with food. Additionally, tracking time in the meal of your dog is an opportunity for closeness to your pet.
Remember that when feed your pet should not rely on the convenience that should be concerned about the long-term health for pet.

5. WHAT THINGS YOU SHOULD AVOID IN NUTRITION FOR DOG?
- Always make sure the dog food should be cooked and do not have small bones.
- Dogs do not need salt like humans.
- Do not give sugary foods for dog, especially chocolate can be harmful to dogs.
6. HOW MUCH WATER SHOULD YOUR DOG BE DRINKING?
Dogs have around 1,700 taste buds, humans have approximately 9,000 taste buds, cats have about 470. The dog had water taste buds, this is different from humans. So when feeding dry food should be mixed with water or milk substitute, the dog will eat more.
Water requirements of dogs depend on the activity level, weather and foods are ingested. Dogs like activities and often drink more water in hot weather, eat more dry food make dogs thirsty. The general principle to supply water: if you have 0.5kg dry food, you must provide at least 1 liter of water. Always have fresh water for dogs to drink.
7. HOW TO KEEP THE HAIR ALWAYS GLOSSY?
Not only providing sufficient nutrients, but also additional pet VITAMIN as
BIO-VITAMIN AD3E or BIO-VITA COMPLEX and use luxury bath oil BIO-Shampoo 4 Jolie to skin, helps dogs get smooth fur.
8. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOUR DOG GET CONSTIPATION?
- If your dog gets constipation, so to eat sweet potato is the natural way to adjust the softness of the feces. You can also use chips.
- Should let your dog eat a teaspoon of cooking oil each month to avoid constipation and prevent hair rolled up into a tufts hair that is cause of intestinal obstruction.
9. OTHER ATTENTIONS
- When the dogs are 3-6 months, they will teething. This time they will become discerning and lost appetite, sometimes get gastrointestinal disorders. This period should eat nutritious foods, drink milk digestible or for BIO-MILK FOR PET, feeding 2 times a day.
- Your dog may get diarrhea if changes abruptly food. When you need to change the new food so mix of 2 parts of old food + 1 part of new food fresh food section, feeding about 2 days. Two days next mixing 2 parts of new food + 1 part old food. Then give them whole new foods.
